Here is a better quality version of that performance:

I think her performance last night with Kim Burrell was awesome. She needs to do another gospel album. Although I don't think this is right, someone recorded video of Whitney singing at Mama Brown's [[Bobby Brown's mother) funeral last week...but the performance is a very nice and touching tribute.

This woman has been through it all and the Lord was with her every step of the way with His grace and mercy. I think at this point in her career, she REALLY needs to do gospel. No more of the pop-bubble gum I Wanna Dance With Somebody-type tracks. I love that stuff...but she's matured and gospel is clearly her thing.

Kim moved me-Whitney seemed like she was performing. She does sound better though.

I'm glad the response to Whitney has been positive, but I really would have liked to hear her perform alone. Many times, I thought her vocals were clashing with Kim's.

How horrible of someone to take a PRIVATE moment and post it on You Tube.

Good taste is not an SDF requirement miss olamae.

Pretty poor taste; I notice that it is obviously recorded surreptitiously; they sure didn't want to be seen.

But Whitney seems to be on the right track and her and Bobby get on well enough for her to be with him and sing at her Mother in Law's funeral.

It was posted by Thashiznit1986; someone should take a lot at what else he has posted or says.

Unfortunately, this is the kind of item people want to view; but I notice the comments are very negative; only 318 people viewed it and there are masses of negative comments and requests to remove it including a comment from the nephew of the deceased saying he did not know his aunt's funeral was going to become a concert.

While I agree that filming something at a funeral and posting it on Youtube is not right, mainly because the family involved probably did not grant this person permission to film...I did like Whitney's tribute. Very moving and touching.

This video has been deleted and re-uploaded to Youtube a number of time's. It's also on TMZ's website. There's been buzz around it because New Edition reunited for a tribute to Bobby's mother.

I liked her version of "Precious Lord" and think she did a good job of it. RIP Mrs. Brown!

I agree, Marv. This is why I keep saying she should do more gospel material. It's her thing. Whitney grew up in the church and it's a part of her spirit.

There is or was another clip up of Whitney and Johnny Gill performing "Never Would Have Made It". I did not like Johnny's participation at all. He preached [[I did like what he said), but he ruined the song and Whitney was sounding quite good that parts you could hear over Johnny's near screaming.

Yes, I do know what you mean. And you're right, I also saw the video with Johnny Gill [[I wasn't sure who he was, to be honest) and I thought the same thing.
