WELL DID YOU EVER....Not exactly your classic Motown Sound but...

Tracks listed on DFTMC as issued by Motown on The Pretty Things all relate to their two albums here.

Early albums on the Rare Earth label had rounded tops and the Repertoire issue CD accurately reflects that feature. Of course, these CD re-issues also have several extra bonus tracks too [[but not originally on Motown). You could call them expanded editions.

Pictured here are:
Repertoire - REP5140 The Pretty Things - SF Sorrow [[Rare Earth 506)
Snapper - SDPCD110 The Pretty Things - Parachute [[Rare Earth 515)

NB - Both LPs were also later issued as a two album set "Real Pretty" on Rare Earth 549

The CD re-issues both come with lavish booklets and "Parachute" can also be obtained, for example, on the Repertoire label in a digipak still with a lavish [[but different) booklet.
