Interesting list Keith.

I knew he played the drums on Junior's version of 'How Sweet it Is', [[the style and feel of the drums always stood out as different), but it's definitely Benny Benjamin on 'Shotgun' & '[[I'm A) Roadrunner'.

From what I can recall, he replaced The All Stars regular drummer James Graves in 1966, [[he says in the video he joined Jr again in Dec 1965) and as Shotgun was recorded at the end of 1964, he couldn't have been on that. [[Shotgun & Roadrunner are classic Benjamin!)

Still, a great talent, and from the interviews and articles I've seen on him, seemed like a lovely bloke!

I wondered about "Shotgun", given what Billy says in the interview. The session lists were sent to French discographer Kurt Mohr by Esther Edwards, and published on various French LP covers and in magazines. So they come from a good source, but that doesn't mean they're right!
