Love love love them both. I saw Stephanie in 'The Wiz' on Broadway way back when and she made time stand still; Diana's finale in the movie can't be beat. It's a win-win for me!

Diana Ross singing the song live is magical. Both versions are good though.

Love both. But The Diana Ross version has so much more emotion to me. So I prefer Diana's version.

Stephanie hits all the notes but her version here seems a tad callow. I think this clip is from the 'Sammy & Co.' variety show Davis hosted in the late '70s.
