Very interesting album, copley. Mostly covers of songs Vermettya recorded as lead singer of Sisters Love I believe. "Mr. Fix-It Man", "Try It, You'll Like It", "I’m Learning To Trust My Man"... great to see the lady herself re-record all these great songs.

album description: “Imagine if Janis Joplin's voice took hold of Aretha Franklin's body” :D

This being her only album ever recorded under her name really could have been something special, but the choice of material made no sense, why cover all these old Sisters Love songs? [[9 out of 12) The photo on the inside of the digi-pack looked a thousand times better than that illustrated cover they used. The only real stand out is "Try [[Just A Little Bit Harder)," now that made sense.
