Seems that things have been quiet with the Queen lately. I read that another show at the beginning of this month was cancelled. Has she made any public appearances in the last few months? Hoping we will hear from her soon. Get well, Aretha!

She's supposed to perform at Elton John's AIDS charity event in NYC on November 7. I believe her next album [[not the one with the Royal Philharmonic) has been delayed until next year.

She is also in the planning stages for her new night club/restaurant in Downtown Detroit!

Sometimes I am just in awe when I think about the fact that I was in the 2nd Grade, in Elementary School when Aretha had her first big hit. I am still listening to her today some 50 years later! Amazing!
