Thank you Glencro for posting this performance. I saw Gil do it live in NY at the Village Gate and brought the house down and when he did Johannesburg, people were on top of the tables. Gil Scott and Brian Jackson were a dynamic duo. Man, those were the days!

great performance. thanks for sharing. I mourn the loss of musicianship merged with conscience. Nothing like it in today's music -- just sampled, rehashed beats and ideas. If anyone knows of modern-day artists who can do anything like what Gil Scott-Heron could do please let us know.
