Fantastic to hear! And to read! I saw William Bell perform on a big R&B package tour in September 1966 at the old Orlando Municipal Auditorium. Joe Tex and Mary Wells were the headliners along with Mable John, Barbara Lewis, Pigmeat Markham, the Van Dykes, Lee Dorsey, Peg Leg Moffett, etc. Tickets were $2.50 and general admission. Back then we bought tickets at record shops with no service fee charges.
