Excited to hear about a Chuck Jackson CD. It would be nice if they followed their Maxine Brown "Wand Years" CD concept, which used the mono mixes where the earlier collection, "Oh Not Not My Baby", used the stereo.

I'd love to hear a version of Chuck's "Getting Ready For the Heartbreak" that didn't have the intrusive other voice - I'm guessing it was Tommy Hunt or another male singer, who they couldn't completely wipe from the tape to make way for Chuck's run at the song.

Btw, there's a Shirelles version of "Getting Ready For the Heartbreak" on iTunes, though I don't think it's been released on CD/lossless. Perhaps Ace might release it on their next "Where the Girls Are" collection. I hope they also continue releasing Evie Sands' Cameo output.
