Well of course she can. That's why Diana rose to the heights she did. Diana did and does not need to grandstand every note she sings.

It's from her 1987 special RED HOT RHYTHM AND BLUES. Among the guests were Little Richard, Etta James, and Billy Dee Williams.

Yea, this caught me off guard...been a fan for years and I know Ashford & Simpson pushed her vocally on "The Boss" album...this clip was great
