I know it's not quite Motown but it was written and produced by Edwin Starr with Lamont Dozier... also it's just so DARN fantastic... incredibly catchy and lyrically wonderful!!!! Enjoy! :D

Hey, glad to hear it, PNH. Yes, this one is a fantastic album track from Edwin's 1978 LP Clean. Really great. :)

Edwin was superb in the mellow mood, what a true gent worked with him so many times and music came first with him before ££££ and he just loved being live, always had the most amazing tight young band, they were always like a family which came from Edwin.

I really wish I could buy the CD of this album but I can't find it anywhere for a price that isn't over £50!!! :)

I find it sad when an Extended Edition CD like Clean is not available and sellers want £50 for them, plenty of vinyl, just love this CD.
