Hello everybody!

I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I am trying to locate the dates, cities/towns and venues for the 1963 Motown Revue. If anybody has any tips re:books etc. that I might be able to find them I would love to know about the. I dream one day I'll find a copy of Woodsons 1962 Photo Journal but I won't hold my breath! haha!

If anyone has any details I would be very grateful. I would like to cross-reference them with the 1962 tour and see if there are any additions or changes.

Thank you

Hello Refinney and welcome! I believe there was a thread on this subject recently. If I find it, I will post a link.

Jsmith, where did you find these amazing pieces of history. Did you collect them? My parents were at that Toledo Sports Arena show.

Yes, I do collect old soul / Motown related items. I really love those old venue ads / flyers / posters that remind us of all the great shows that were staged back in soul's golden era.

Not a Motown Review but a Motown related show staged in a Cleveland nightclub back in 64 ... Jerry Jones, a cross dressing female MC & singer was in charge of the stage on the night. She soon moved on to Miami & then Jamaica where she performed in nightclubs & recorded a good number of cuts [[many reggae style).
