This amazing index card with notes by Frank Schiffman, owner of the Apollo Theatre, commenting on The Supremes' various performances at the venue 12969from 10/18/1963, to 11/08/1972, is coming up for auction at the end of the month.

Wow, what a great find. Interesting comments. I would love to hear their Oct 63 show. I wonder if they did "A Breath Taking Guy".

I checked back on the auction site today and noted that the selling price was "0 dollars." The estimated price was set at between $40,000 to $50,000! Way TOO much in my opinion. My guess is that the item was withdrawn as it may not have
rown, Ray Charles and Richard Pryor file rating cards sold, but I tend to doubt they did at those prices.

Yes, certainly too high. It says the starting bid was $1,000 which seems about right.
