Maybe not; it seems to me the success of a documentary is more based on the film-maker than the subject [[case in point, the recent 'Strike A Pose'. With Houston it may still be too soon to truly and honestly delve into the subject.

I agree, I'm an avid documentary watcher. I've watched documentaries on subjects that did initially did not interest me but somehow drew me in based on how well done the actual documentary was done. Now the news of whether Whitney was bi or not or the speculation is old, boring and could go in the who cares pile.
