Not sure what the occasion was, but was nice seeing this in the window of one of my favorite record stores in Amsterdam.

Yes, it is. It is the shop with the most vinyl[[new and second hand) In Amsterdam.
Also large selections of movies [[dvd/bluray) and cd's[[classical/jazz/pop/soul,etc..)
Most larger record stores are gone, except for this one and Fame, near Central Station in the basement of Media Markt.

Thanks Gary, it took some time to get this made from a picture of the album cover because of the resoltution of the picture but it came out very nicely! Was a birthday present.

That is good to know. She was one of the most recognised icons in the world. Not may people over the age of 30 would not know who she is.
