Many artists have recorded Jimmy Webb's "Honey Come Back" and it is usually more associated with Glen Campbell [[as are other JW songs). Jimmy was a fabulous song writer - published for some time by Motown's Jobete publishing arm.

According to Wikipedia - the first recording of "Honey Come Back" was by Chuck Jackson on Motown but it had already been recorded some years previously by Dorsey Burnette, also at Motown. There is also an acetate listed as by JW himself.

Although the Dorsey Burnette version is on YouTube, it isn't readily accessible in the UK. So I've chosen this one by Junior Walker. Fab.

Very nice version. Wish Universal would release Jr. Walker's albums.
