With the danger of relighting older discussions about Dreamgirls etc., I'm surprised to read the following in this interview: "After finally seeing the film, Ross recently told the press that in reality the group’s highs were higher and their lows lower. 'I agree with Diane,' concurs Wilson." I don't remember any report about Diana Ross seeing Dreamgirls except the tongue-in-cheek comment that she would go see it with her lawyers. Does anybody know an article or interview in which Ross is quoted about having seen the film?

Diana acknowledged that she'd seen it on one of the US morning talk shows [["Good Morning America," maybe?) a little after its release; she indeed said that her story wasn't as rosy as the film depicted. Sorry I can't cite you chapter and verse.
