I think the Ecology label was started in the early 70s by Sammy Davis, Jr. and Berry Gordy. I vaguely recall reading that Blinky worked quite a bit with Sammy. Maybe she did some unreleased recordings for this label as well.

I cannot explain the unusual label, however, I have in my collection a much later picture of Blinky. At the bottom right hand corner of the picture is the
M for Motown in the block.
