Are there any UK members here who tuned into Family Favourites?
I'm keen to compile a list of records that were a regular feature of the show.
We plan on having a 'naff' night party, playing old FF tunes.
Here are a few titles..would love your contributions. A few to start with:

Big Bad John
Three wheels on my wagon
Runaway train
Hello mother hello father
Deck of cards
Hole in the ground
Right said Fred
My boomerang won't come back
Come outside
Goodness gracious me

Hopefully you can add some old FF tunes..

My memory is failing I'm afraid...I think the show was called Junior Choice, not FF. Sorry

West grand
Thanks for those suggestions..spot on.
I've actually found CD compilations covering this entire genre..100 tracks for about £5...ordered them, should be a blast.
Thanks again

I only seem to remember the string puppet TV series of 'Torchy, The Battery Boy.'... [[Roberta Leigh and Gerry Anderson)

This thread is about a RADIO show - Junior Choice - so how can Torchy, a TV show, feature?

And 'My Brother' was by Terry Scott.....LOLOLOL

I have fond memories of "The Three Billy Goats Gruff Song" by Frank Luther, though it probably predated Ed Stewart and was played during Uncle Mac's stint on Junior Choice.
