Marv I can't believe you posted this! I love this song! You know, I thought people stopped appreciating Motown in and after the late '70s...! ;)

An incredibly talented band. I wish that they had experienced a longer run

STOPPED? Though Motown was great in the 60's and 70's acts like Rick James, Teena Marie, Switch, Tata Vega, DeBarge and so many others were a part of the soundtrack of my life

This is a special memory for me. It came out just at the start of my freshman year in college. I can remember walking or rather stumbling around campus on a weekend singing it along with 2 of my buddies at the tops of our lungs! LOL! Great song.

They really were great and needed an even bigger push from Motown.

They put out some good stuff in the 80s also. I was listening to the Mary Jane Girls and Val Young earlier this evening. Good, quality recordings that were popular at the time.

Switch was so phenomenal. And to think that Jermaine Jackson discovered them in an elevator [[or so legend would have it). His troubles aside, Bobby deBarge was one of the greatest falsetto singers of all time. And the whole band was hella tight. Thanks for posting!

Oh my, yes, I love those artists!! Tata Vega, in particular, is massively underrated IMO :)

Would love to see them profiled on their own "Unsung" episode.

One of my favorite Switch cuts:
