Donald Trump Basically Says Conflicts Of Interest Aren’t Illegal If The President Has Them
“The law’s totally on my side,” he said.

The rules don't apply if your last name is Trump. That seems to be the norm lately.

Best,

Yep, this man is taking this country so far down the rabbit hole it makes me wonder how, or if it will ever get back on track.

Yesterday, he held an "off the record" press session with top reporters of every major news outlet. Highly inappropriate but also pure genius. The implication is that if he doesn't like the press that he is given, the offending outlets won't be invited back. That explains why the gathering of White Nationalists who were giving the Nazi salute amid shouts of "Heil, Trump!" was not covered in context of being a reason for his victory, but rather a consequence of it.

Associating the word genius with Trump or his actions doesn't float my boat. I'm thinking more along the lines of bullying and intimidation. Money talks BS walks and stock holders of the majors are loving their dividend checks. Who could understand and exploit that better than Trump?

I love this phrase:

It’s a quandary of an enigma wrapped in the death of journalism, the end.

For those that may not know:

The ‘Alt-Right’ Is A Hate Movement, And It’s Scarier Than You Think
Its leader, Richard Spencer, is no less skilled at manipulation than Donald Trump.

One day in the summer, Drumpf gave a speech in which he called Clinton a bigot. He offered no substantive examples of why she was, but spent an hour doing so. Later the same day, Clinton gave a speech. She said that he had a decades long pattern of racist behavior that included being sued for refusing to rent to Black people, removing Black employees from working on the floor of his casinos, smearing the Central Park Five, and a much longer list of substantiated discriminatory activity. She said that she brought this to attention because he hired the founder of Breitbart's web site as his campaign director. She then very clearly explained what the alt-right movement was and why it was dangerous.

I watched ABC World News Tonight that evening. They spent five minutes on Drumpf and his baseless claim, never mentioning his lack of evidence for it. Then, they spent literally 45 seconds to say that she gave a speech as well. They said that she talked about Steve Bannon and Breitbart, but ignored literally everything else that she said. The media absolutely polished his balls in an attempt to make them seem similar in qualifications and substance. I'm not suggesting that they make her into something that she's not, only that they paint him to be what he is. Between the effort to cash in on the election by the networks and many Americans' reluctance to vote for a female leader, she never had a chance.

Hopefully Trumps ego will destroy him.Hopefully Trump's ego won't destroy us all. Russia is now moving nukes closer to western Europe and they've already test fired a missile capable of reaching the US in 12 minutes. They're getting ballsy, knowing that President-elect Dump won't push back on them like every American president since the '50s.

I'm not watching news on TV and haven't really done so since the elections. Reading Post #7 by Jerry Oz got me thinking. All through the long tedious, boring, etch campaign the press gave tRump so much free publicity it is amazing. They could have and should have given two minutes coverage to his rallies. Maybe once in a while double it. But that went so overboard it is ridiculous. Matt Lauer should have been fired after the so called interview with tRump. And then he goes to the other extreme on HRC. The FBI pulled the same stunt. There is so much material regarding tRump that could be investigated. Maybe they would not have found anything, but at least they should have looked. Instead they pull that stunt with Anthony Weiner's laptop. They said they looked and found nothing. In closing it has crossed my mind many times that tRump referred to her as "Crooked Hillary" for a long time. Quick score board. Nine congressional investigations and no charges. Two FBI investigations and no charges. tRump on the other hand. I don't have to go there.

Agree and as far as I'm concerned, the accusations he throws out are the things he has done or intend to do. This was all "entertainment" and revenue for the press. By the time they figured out they had gone too far it was too late. Now it's back to "entertainment" and revenue. Welcome to the next four years... but on steroids!

LOL. Has there ever been somebody who projects his own faults onto others as this clown? He called people crooked, liars, bigots, and more. And everything he called them was an accurate description for him.
