I like it, but my favourite version is still the remix on Ross 78. Not a great album, but still a few gems to be had.

I've always loved Diana's version of this track - even when it was the short version on the B side of 'I'm still waiting'. This has to be in my top 5 of all of her recordings.
Midnight Johnny's done a great job on this - but then, he always does.
"Reach Out I'll Be There" is one of Ross' most majestic recordings. One of my favorites. It was the highlight of her 2006 concert at the Pantages in Hollywood, CA -- which to date is still my favorite of the dozen or so Ross shows I've attended. Her vocal performance is spot-on and matches the energy of the song from start to finish. Does anyone know who provided the background vocals? Because I feel like I can hear Cissy Houston back there but that seems unlikely.

Maybe Nick, Val, and Joshie Armstead?
