After an abysmal week, it sure would be a pick-me-up to hear some news about everybody's favorite girl group and a fond memory of better days past when we could all a go go​.

I cant expect anything on my favorite girl group - the Velvelettes but I would sure like something on the Vandellas.

Just like The Supremes CD that was released with Jean songs that featured an early Supremes photo on the cover.

Good catch. But isn't it a bit odd to be promoting the old version with a new, refreshed version just around the corner? very odd.

I would agree. However, they also put something on the Classic Motown Facebook page. If they were going to honor the album without an imminent release they should have posted something back in October when the album hit #1. I have hopes that this means it will be available for Christmas shopping.
