Yeah I've had this clip for many years. Thank you Mysterysinger. Still one of my favorites.

Mary kills it in Japan. Cindys alto great. Scherrie tends to oversing at times. Are they all wearing nipple cones or something?

Here someone asks her to sing it and I only wished she had:

Thanks! Mary is hysterical. She should do more of that in her shows! Love it!

Jean stepped on Mary's last two words a bit at the beginning!

If I'm not mistaken this was Jean and Lynda's final television appearance with The Supremes so I'm assuming tensions were pretty high. Didn't Mary even mention this performance in "Supreme Faith"? I do like how Lynda gets her own line during the song.

As far as the MSC performance, I do like the slower tempo, and Scherrie handles her part well, but I think it would have been better as a duet between Mary and Cindy. "Touch" feels like a soft song to me, and Cindy would have added a lot to it.

Cindy had a small part using her alto. Loved it

She is a pro. Like Smokey, Stevie and Gladys, she really engages her audiences. She has great rapport with them everywhere.

I agree Thornton. It would have sounded smoother with just Mary and Cindy in this case. That performance with Jean, Mary and Lynda was on the tv special "Model of the Year" in 1973. They all were great singing their solo parts, but at the end it just sounded like they were competing with one another a bit.
