Gladys Knight is being blackmailed by her son who is claiming that his mother has Alzheimer's Disease. Gladys says that she does not have the disease and that it is just his sorry blackmail attempt to get Gladys to continue to allow him to use her name on his chicken and waffle business.

Gladys' other children were brilliant. Jimmy was her manager [[RIP) and later on her daughter Kenya became her manager. Both did great jobs at it.

Not sure what her son means by saying "she has been paid to use her name unless there was a percentage paid to her." That is family and I am sure at some point they will work it out.
