I have not been around here much lately, as it seems that the forum has veered too far from the original excellent place that it once was when I first joined.
Anyway, I saw that Marv started a thread, but the subject did not say what it was about. There have been plenty of articles around the net lately on the upcoming induction ceremony and the attempt at building an R&B Hall of Fame Museum in Detroit.
Maybe folks can start talking about the Detroit music scene without mentioning Motown.
