Always one of my favorite tracks from that mini-masterpiece. It is a little more rhythmic and a helluva lot more percussive. Besides the music, it is the brilliance of the layered background vocals: "Blowin' Coke up my nose. I've been in and out of my clothes....fool in' around with midnight hoes". Too real. He almost rewrites the background vocals, along with the jagged rhythms.
Love it! Still part of his brilliance from 1971-83! Thanks for this.

Marvin was just simply amazing. He could sing "The Lord's Prayer" and then turn around and sing something like this. Both convincingly!
