The New York ambassador of the quiet storm program. Like Frankie Crocker he can only be imitated ,not duplicated. He will be missed. Rest In Peace.

My voice in the night for so many years! He was one of a kind and I am very sorry to hear of his passing. He absolutely ranked with Frankie, Hal Jackson and so many other legendary NYC DJ's. Rest in peace Vaughn and thanks man.

That is sad news. His soothing voice and the mellow music that he played always gave a relaxing feeling to my ears and to my being.
