You're welcome and I agree. This recording was from 50 years ago and Susaye sounds pretty much the same today!

The B side was - "Please Send Him Back". I have not found a clip of it yet.

1966 must have been the best year ever for the quality of its releases. Tracks like this, which I've somehow never heard before, continue to amaze me.

A lovely recording and an interesting and distinctive voice. The chorus of "baby" reminds me of the one on Marvin's I'll Be Doggone"...

This great track hasn't been anthologized ? C'mon! I hope Susaye would be on board with this idea...maybe someone from Ace/Kent or some other savvy company could include it in a future female vocalist compilation. That would be amazing!

Unfortunately, the studio where this was recorded in Englewood, NJ burned to the ground in 1970 and all of the masters were lost.

Some sources gave her birthdate as September 1952, others September 1949.
