Went to see this last week & it is very good! It is not a musical, but a stage play concentrating on the last days of Marvins life. The full second half of the production is set in the house & brings to the stage the situations that eventually lead up to where Marvin would be shot dead. The story is told through the eyes of Marvins sisters.

Great cast made up of a number of familiar faces from British TV dramas. A standing ovation at the end when I was there. It stage play goes to the Hackney Empire in London next from 15 June - 3 July. If you can get to see it ...then do, you wont be disappointed.

This sounds like it might be similar to 'Through The Grapevine - The Life Of Marvin Gaye', a play that was put on at The Shaw Theatre in Euston, London back in 1991. It was so long ago now I can't remember much about it though. Did any other Forum members see it?
