Thanks, theboyfromxtown, for posting this. I saw this story on our local channel 4 news in Detroit, where they mentioned that he sang worldwide as a member of the Volumes; during the story they had a more "recent" photo of the group, but I could not determine if Mr. Peterson was an original member of the group. He certainly would have been in that age category. His neighbors were very upset by his death, as he had been in the neighborhood for quite a number of years. Wikipedia had a listing of the members, but I don't know if that is accurate or not.
