That was great. I take it that was from sometime in the 70s?

Yes Marv, 1970 release on United Artists. Written by Philly composers J. D. Akines & J. Bellmon, and issued as a B side to It'll Never Be The Same. Arranged by Horace Ott. Seems to be an isolated release on UA, surprising to see the flip side being performed. I assume it is a left over cut from their 1969 UA album Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind. Cracking tune though.

Here's another isolated release, no album on UA around 1970

I notice from that album cover they had some personnel changes by 1970. They directly to the right of Anthony I am not familiar with.

It was hard work trying to find all his Thom Bell's work and I missed this. Was there an album?

No John, there was no Thom Bell album. Sammy Strain has stated that Thom Bell wanted to work with Little Anthony and The Imperials on an album, and that Thom, Linda Creed and Connie Stevens had composed 12 songs for the ALBUM. however, both Little Anthony and Imperial Kenny Seymour thought they could write and produce and turned down Thom Bell. Sammy says Thom then gave all the songs to The Stylistics. [[Caveat: I also have read somewhere that Thom and his collegues wrote the songs specifically for Russell which were perfect for his vocal stylings).

As I understand it, Thom Bell faced similar challenges by The Delfonics and New York City, both of whom significantly hurt themsleves in the process.

Notice how the producer can make a similar sound with very different groups?

Out of my desire to collect Motown, I bought the Bobby Taylor version on UK Epic. I did get to find out about the TB & BT version a bit later but I was already sold on the 45 mix on the 4 Tops and didn't think that BT improved on the Tops. So I passed on the duet version.
