FLOs question: UP THE LADDER

I've read that in 1994, The FLOS released an album, "Supreme Voices", which features a remake of "Up The Ladder To The Roof" with special guest vocals added by Cindy Birdsong.

Is this version of "UTL" the same version with that was released in 1987 with John Kydd?

Yes it's the same backing track. Don't think John Kydd is on the track but it also include Sundray Tucker and Jayne Edwards.

It was recently re-mixed and released on iTunes.

The original with John Kydd. I believe Lynda Laurence was also on this, but, was unable to attend the photo shoot for the LP due to a previous commitment.
