Does anyone have a listing of the Tamla/Motown UK picture sleeves that were issued for the 45's that were issued in the UK. Just curious whether there were as many issued over there as there were in the United States. I am not considering any reproductions, only legitimate picture sleeves.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

As far as I can remember picture sleeves with 45's in the UK were few and far between during the 60's & 70's. I took to collecting European Tamla Motown releases as all of these came with picture sleeves. It wasn't until the late 70's / early 80's that picture sleeves with 45's became the norm for Motown releases here in the UK!

Woodward, from what I can find, it would appear that prior to the end of 1976 no Tamla Motown 45's released in the U.K. came housed in picture sleeves.

However, "demo copies" of the following did have custom-designed sleeves:
TMG 715 - "The Onion Song"
TMG 738 - "ABC"
TMG 833 - "Lookin' Through The Windows"
TMG 848 - "Love Theme" from 'Lady Sings The Blues'
TMG 849 - "Good Morning Heartache"
TMG 865 - "Skywriter"
TMG 948 - "Memories" and
TMG 1010 - "Theme From Mahogany"

Hope this helps!
