I was sorry to read of his passing,good actor,and as you stated[the white shadow]was one of the coolest tv shows ever...r.i.p.

It was a really good, clean show that did not stray very far from reality.

Two things I remember about the show:
1) Had a Cooley High vibe [[ I believe there was a six degrees of separation with the character Haywood) and
2) Ken Howard's pigeon toes!! [[those were my h.s. years! I thought it was cool to be pigeon toes; I'm flat footed!)
