Oh well, I still enjoyed watching the Richard Gere clip.

It quite made my day.

I don't think I've ever seen such a nice chest of drawers....

She was briefly mentioned when Jonathan Ross brought up the subject of Berry's relationship with Diana, and a photo flashed up on screen.

Well found! I was a bit disappointed to be honest but I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is such a rare event for him to be on British TV. Did you notice the respect that he receives not only from the host but also from fellow guests and the audience. Mr Gordy is a living legend here

Me too.....but I'd like to think I would ask him more imaginative questions.

I very much enjoyed the interview. He is so damn....well, hip.....for an 86 year old.

The best thing about it, for me, though is knowing he is in London and will no doubt be there tonight at the official opening night of Motown The Musical in Lonson.

Anyone else got tickets for tonight on this forum?

I jumped the gun and went on the 11th February the first show I wish I had known about this 'opening night ' never mind I hope that everyone who sees this show from this forum or not enjoys their night and if it brings a boost to sales of Motown music in any format it will help to preserve the legacy that Mr Gordy built and passed on to fans of the Sound of Young America
