It's not an adequate representation of their body of work and much of their best tracks are left off. It didn't even include all the singles

Agreed. It was compiled by UK soul dj Ralf Tee and was his personal preferences. It's a decent compilation but as you well know such compilations rarely contain all the songs you would personally pick, and this one is no exception. I bought it a couple of years ago and I do play it quite regularly but had it been up to me it would have contained several different songs.
What we really need is their back catalogue given the respect it deserves. So far we have only had one album given the reissue treatment. Let us hope more are in the planning stages.

I just read this on Wikipedia about Vernessa Mitchell: "Mitchell was born on January 1, 1969 in Columbus, Georgia,"

How could that be possible when High Inergy's first hit, "You Can't Turn Me Off" was released in 1977?

I think they meant 1959.

High Inergy's last LP, "Groove Patrol" was an absolute tour de force for the group. Every song is a gem. I would love to see it reissued on CD!
