Heck, YEAH, Luke! I've always LOVED that record! "I'm Caught Up [[In A One-Night Love Affair)" is one of my all-time favorite dance tracks by Inner Life -- a great disco-era girl-group led by Jocelyn Brown. Did you like their remake of Diana's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" on Salsoul?

Yeah, Luke, I've got Inner Life's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" in my CD collection -- a couple of different mixes, in fact. I like it a lot, and I wanted to love it, but I don't. The reason is because they didn't do the entire song. They sang the first verse only, and then the rest of the recording is just the chorus repeated over and over and over throughout the entire mix -- which is a LONG sucker! If they had just included one more verse in between, or just repeated the first verse again, it could have been a masterpiece, but they didn't. Because of that, it somewhat annoys me every time I hear it. Other than that, the music and the vocals are HOT!

A quick note -- I read in one of my Motown books where Diana Ross once ran into Jocelyn Brown at the airport. Diana spoke first to get Jocelyn's attention, and the two sat down and shared a warm, friendly conversation. I thought that was really nice, and I'm reminded of that every time I hear Inner Life's version of "Ain't No Mountain....".

I do remember it as getting quite monotonous! Jocelyn sang background for Diana.
