I periodically get ads from Amazon.com and today got one that showed the Isley Brothers Motown Anthology which is sold by SKYVO-USA and fulfilled by Amazon for $16.37. Under the product details it shows Format: Import and Label: 101 Distribution.

I have this in my collection and I bought it when it was initially released in 2009. My copy says 2009 Universal Island Records LTD, a division of Motown Record Company LP.

The label designation of 101 Distribution confuses me. Is this company issuing CDs that Motown previously handled? I am curious about the change from Motown to 101 Distribution.

Can anyone shed any light on this matter? Thanks.

Well there's this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Motown-Anthology-101-DISTRIBUTION-2011-03-11/dp/B019GLU3IC/ref=sr_1_4?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1455493899&sr=1-4&keywords=isley+brothers+anthology

and there's also this on the "Music Store Label"
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Motown-Anthology-2Cd-ISLEY-BROTHERS/dp/B0111Y32LM/ref=sr_1_3?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1455493899&sr=1-3&keywords=isley+brothers+anthology

And I'm not sure Amazon care too much about the details being correct on their web site.
