The release has been delayed until the end of February. It is being released by PTG Records, I believe they are based in Holland? Dusty Groove also has the CD on their site for pre-order and notes "bonus tracks", but no track listing yet. Looking forward to having this on CD...

Not really that familiar with this. I take it we are talking a strong album that is worth purchasing?

Listen to song I posted. Lead singer Margo Thunder is a powerhouse.

Sounds good. As you rightly say the lead singer can certainly sing. Thanks for this recommendation.

I feel ashamed that I let this project bypass me on it's original release but I guess you cannot catch everything. Better late than never I suppose. I definitely want this.

9.9's album reached #79 on the U.S. [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States) Billboard 200 [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billboard_200) and #15 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_R%26B/Hip-Hop_Albums) chart. 9.9 released a second single titled "I Like The Way You Dance." They also provided backing vocals for a single with Patti LaBelle [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patti_LaBelle) called "Shy". The group continued until 1987, when disputes over material, production and personal matters forced the group to disband. She is also a minister and has recorded several gospel albums available on iTunes [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITunes). Margo Thunder went on to form another female group called Lady Soul [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Soul). Lady Soul recorded a song and video for the Sister Act [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sister_Act) soundtrack called "If My Sisters in Trouble". Margo is now recording as a solo act and just released a single called "Mistreated" also available on iTunes. She currently resides in Los Angeles.

Interesting that Dusty Groove now seems to be shipping this reissue. Thanks for the link, blueskies. I pre-ordered on Amazon UK and keep receiving e-mails that the release has been delayed. Maybe it will ship this week?
