In between Come Into My Life [[http://www.jermainelajaunejackson.com/singer-and-bassist/albums/come-into-my-life-1973)[[1973) and My Name is Jermaine [[http://www.jermainelajaunejackson.com/singer-and-bassist/albums/my-name-is-jermaine-1976) [[1976), Jermaine recorded another and third studio album Do Unto Others at Sigma Studios in 1975 in Philadelphia that was never released. The album titled Do Unto Others was produced by Norman Harris and remains unreleased. In late 1975, Joseph Jackson was negotiating with several record companies, a new contract for his sons outside the Motown empire. Jermaine decided to stay loyal to Motown and the company managed by his father-in-law. When Berry Gordy promised that Motown would make him a priority for his solo career, Jermaine made the difficult decision to remain in the label, and leave the group. Jermaine's next album release at Motown was My Name Is Jermaine [[http://www.jermainelajaunejackson.com/singer-and-bassist/albums/my-name-is-jermaine-1976) [[1976), re-introducing himself again after the split up with his brothers. The track "Good For The Gander" was released on The Spirit of Philadelphia album.

The tracks sound a lot like Eddie Kendricks on Going Up In Smoke and He's A friend.
Maybe that is the reason Berry did not want to release the album!

Yeah, that sound was associated with Kendricks at that point. What's interesting is that Epic forced his brothers to record with Gamble & Huff too.

14 years later and the situation remains the same, with no sign of the album ever being released......we'll check back in another 14 years and see if any progress!

I'd love to see Bobby Eli still posting , he is a walking encyclopedia, with an amazing recollection of finer detail.
