This was from probably my favorite period of Marvin's career [[1966-70). Great clip. Thank you theboyfromxtown!

One of my favorite MG songs from the mid-sixties period. I love the version w/o the strings but the strings version is good too. :)

"Little Darling [[I Need You)" is pure '60s HDH & Motown. One of my favorite Marvin tracks, I love the mono version with strings. Those string passages are gorgeous! I've always wondered why Motown left them off the stereo version. To my ears, it seemed so lackluster without them.

Great clip. Thank you, theboyfromxtown...but then, I seem to spend my whole life thanking you....LOL

I wish I could play my own tambourine as well as the one used on that intro [[even though I can't actually hear it on this particular 'with strings' clip.....;))

Ooo-wee! What a surprise to see this, Tbfxt. Many thanks. Just beautiful. Although one of HDH's milder, easy tempo works--somewhat similar to that of The Isley Bros./I GUESS I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU--this one really got to me. One of those little ditties that packs a lot of punch. Sprinkle in The Andantes and it's just too difficult not to sing along and feel it. Certainly feels terrific to see this great clip now. Had not seen it before but it sure brought back memories of exactly how it felt to catch this stuff on TV on a Saturday afternoon in the '60s.

Is it me or ...at 2.15 didn't they ask the black girl to leave her seat ?

Is that not the same girl with Casey at the end. Seems she had a better offer!

Maybe she had to use the restroom?

Those strings were awesome! Did Paul Riser do those?

Lol, I was gonna say, Mrs. Powell would not approve of the sunglasses & then Marvin took 'em off.

Does anyone know if there is a stereo mix with strings?
