Perfect! He should recorded a whole album of songs from West Side Story. Marvin was as bad as he wanted to be!

I know. Marvin could sing ANYTHING. He was really the most diverse vocalist Motown produced.

The Grammys never gave him props until much later in his career. Shame... his talent was one that would make him as much of a Grammy winner as Sinatra or whoever.

I'm not so keen on Marvin's standard repertoire, but I think 'Maria' is outstanding.

Glad that it is on the upcoming Marvin Gaye Unreleased 1965, even if it is not strictly 'unreleased'. [[Unless it's a different take)

I would buy the Marvin Gaye Unreleased 1965, just to get "Maria". I am sure the other songs will be great too, but this one is special.
