Thanx to Nick Sands for the share of this important video. First footage that I know of of The Falcons. Left to right Lance Finnie[[guitar), Mack Rice, Willie Scofield, Eddie Floyd, and Joe Stubbs. Just incredible!

very nice find. I had this record on United Artists label. While reading up on the song, I learned that it was recorded for Lu-Pine records [[the label where the Primettes started) and picked up nationally by United Artists.

I wonder if there was any jealousy back then when Joe's group had a hit record while Levi's group was struggling to have a hit.

Milven, The Falcons hit in 1959-the Tops didn't get a record of their own until the early 60s.

The Falcons' "You're So Fine" was first released on Robert West's Flick Records in early 1959. He Didn't start LuPine Records until 1960. here's the original issue:
