With the 100th Anniversary of Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra's birth coming next week [[Dec. 12), I was wondering if anyone had bought and listened to "Motown Celebrates Sinatra"?

Yes, indeed. I owned it when it came out in the '90s; heaven knows where it is. Very rewarding for both Motown fans and fans of the Great American Songbook.

There was a television special on last night with many current artists [[John Legend, etc }) paying tribute to Sinatra. Could you imagine if all of the above artists could have done the same?? Whew......!

I didn't really watch it although it was on a tv in the house.

This is a superb album. I still have it and play it and maybe I`ll play it tomorrow - drop the streaming Sirius and stick in a physical CD.

Cuts 2 to 11 are awesome.

Sounds good. For UK viewers this concert is due to be broadcast over here shortly. I look forward to it, but as Marv says I would prefer to watch a concert with the Motown line up!!

I very much enjoy the Motown Sings Sinatra cd. there are some great versions of Ol' Blue Eyes' songs. The Burt Bacharach tribute cd is not as successful to me.
