Bettye LaVette Nominated for Grammy: Best Blues Album

I was very happy to see that Bettye's album "Worthy" was nominated for a Grammy in the Blues album category. She certainly deserves to win! Hoping she will, it's long overdue and well-deserved :)

Carlo, Some years back, Phil sent us a CD of some cassettes that he made when they were in NOLA. Some very interesting song choices, ranging from standards to current radio hits, done in her own inimitable style.
