I was going to title this thread "Your Special Songs" when I thought of this one by Jerry Butler. To special songs take you back to a specific place and time in your life. This one for me, at this time of year always takes me back to the week of the Kennedy Assassination because it was on the radio a lot at that time. Give listen and remember:

It was. It makes me think of my Dad when I hear it. He played this song a lot back then. Then the Kennedy Assassination. I remember it rained for 3 days non stop after that where I lived.

Just a simple song. A lover's plea and you have this bona fide soul classic.

I so agree. Jerry Butler is one of our all time greats and this is amongst his finest in a tremendous back catalogue.
