Yes Xtown...21.00 in France...I do have an occasional listener over in France but your involvement is quite exciting. I hope you enjoy the show, maybe with a glass of nice French wine or two?

Oh Larry, the Velvelettes had one of the greatest Motown B-sides with "Since You've Been Loving Me".

Indeed it is and that just might be in the pipeline.
Also I'm keen on "I'm the exception to the rule"

Something On My MInd.....

I remember buying the 45 and loving this flip side as much as the top side. I so remember buying this 45.

Think this was when I first saw the names Ashford & Simpson.

Great memories for me this song.

One of my faves too theboyfromxtown .. I vastly prefer it to the "A" side and have been known to play it incessantly along with "Hunter", "Bill" and "Your The One".

I've been listening to the show and enjoying it immensely but I can't imagine I'll get too much sleep tonight as I'll be pondering over the big question the show posed .. "If you could meet either Martha Reeves or George Clinton which one would you choose?" :)

Hmm show has now ended, the next one has started and they are playing one of my faves from '77.

Hope you enjoyed Soulful Shack
mainly 60s/70s soul with a Northern feel but not a NS show
Hope to do Motown album only tracks and unissued items too.
Hope you can join me again

Well.....I do post reminders regularly on the main forum but never get a response.
I asked if anybody wanted a special Detroit show with artists from The 60s that are linked to Detroit music history....no reply at all. Perhaps I should have posted on a forum that covers Detroit and soul music.....err wait a minute...
Anyway it's every week Sat/sun 20.00 and Mon/the 17.00
Thanks for kind response.

My show is followed by Hidden Gems...a wider spread of soul music..Inc 60s through new releases. It's very good.
