I still imagine how different the Spinners' career would've been had Motown put more effort behind them... maybe it was fate?

It had to have been fate because they achieved tremendous success with the majority of the group from Motown intact! They were one of the most successful R&B/Pop acts of the entire 70s!

To add to this thread, I saw the Temptations live, with G C Cameron on lead. To say it was GREAT is an understatement.

So did I. I also saw him when he rejoined the Spinners the second time. I liked him better as a Temptation.
