I remember when I first saw them do it on a local Detroit TV show , I was blown away. They tore this one up!

In my neck of the woods [[North London back then), it was the B-side of the 12" which was the big hit. In essence it was the instrumental second half of the full-length track.

Taka Boom's full-throttle vocals are, however, something else.

So much great material out back then that there just wasn't room at the top of the charts for everything.

I never understood the failure of this smoking burner. I saw it on TV, heard it in clubs and maybe the radio. One of my fave of Norman's ever - even the familiar licks here and there [[which normally bug me if so obvious) sound welcome and original. Killer vocal.
